Called To Worship: Vernon M. Whaley – WOW!
Vernon M. Whaley has nailed it! What a fantastic theology for those who love worship. Vernon covers how worship applies to the believe and the one who has not yet believed.
He walks us through the pages of Scripture from cover to cover unveiling this God who longs to have relationship with His creation. It is a manual on how to be a better worshipper. It is a resource to help us see how others have worshipped. All of us are here to worship!
The impact of this book has the potential to move the church from being self-centered, to being Christ-centered. To be effective worshippers corporately, we must engage in personal worship on a daily basis.
It is always a pleasant journey to walk through the pages of Scripture, but to do so while focussing on the sole purpose of life, to ascribe to Him worth, was simply amazing.
You will be a more informed and deeper worshipper when you read this theology of WORSHIP! A must read for all who want to be Worshippers!

I am a visionary architect who is passionate about seeing dreams realized and implemented so that together we can better our world physically and spiritually. I get excited about leadership development and seeing the church multiplied as people embrace their creative side and breathe life and hope into their world. There is nothing that motivates me more than serving the young, the lost, the poor and the elderly.
I have been serving the Lord full-time for over 35 years. I consider myself a ‘life coach.’ For many years I was on the playing pitch. My role today is to train and invest in the next wave of ‘players’ who are serious about winning. My team runs to ‘win’…to win the prize of knowing that we embraced the high calling of God. To serve him with all that we have and give him all the glory.
I have been privileged to serve God as a youth pastor, school administrator, church planter, lead pastor, mission director, business owner, crisis and catastrophe director and college professor. That God chooses to use me to direct our amazing team blows me away. I love my job!
Hi Dan! I believe that Whaley is the head of the Worship Arts Department at Liberty University. My son will be going to Liberty next year as a Worship Arts major and will have Whaley and other wonderful profs for many of his classes. Don’t tell him, but we actually got him this book for Christmas. I’m going to read it before I wrap it! Is that tacky or what?
Yes, he is! Great book and great read too! Tacky….well, I would expect nothing less! Merry Christmas to you….early! Hope all is going well! It was good to see Andy at Catalyst!
