“Unwrapping Christmas”
Images of Catastrophe and Poverty bring issues faced by the most vulnerable into sharp focus. Without the help of our supporters, many of those faces will remain unseen and untouched.
This year CPR-3 is ‘unwrapping’ Christmas to uncover the true extent of what life is like people in Haiti and people affected by catastrophe who are struggling, excluded and vulnerable. http://cpr-3.com/gift/
Over the past 2 years CPR-3 has effectively served people in crisis and poverty. We are amazed at the resolve and resilience of men, women and children who live through the daily struggles of extreme conditions. It has been an over-whelming joy to see once hopeless people find hope through the love of God’s people who take serious the mandate from the prophet Isaiah that reads; “if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness.”
This is our first Christmas appeal that highlights the poverty and deprivation faced by many people in Haiti and areas affected by Hurricane Sandy. This reality is often felt deeper during the holiday season.
It is our goal and aim to breathe life into communities through sustainable measures that care for people physically and spiritually. By using our experience we provide the vital link between the well intentioned donor and the people in need to the causes that really make a difference.
I hope you will join us to support the “Give Your Gift Away – Unwrapping Christmas” project this year. Who will you help this Christmas? Without you who will remember CPR-3’s most vulnerable people?
