We desire to see the Haitian Church thrive and Christ exalted as we reach out to the lost and the overlooked: Part 6 of 7

CPR-3 Staff and Haitian Leaders Celebrate the Movement

That line sums up what CPR-3 is all about.  Our focus is the Haitian church and our motivation is Christ as we seek to reach the lost and overlooked.

The gates of hell will not prevail against Christ’s church, we know that, believe that, and work to see Christ’s church thrive.  Thrive through Haitian leadership, through Haitian ownership.  Christ is exalted when his bride the church is living, acting, and obeying His directives.

CPR-3 does everything that it does through and in the context of local churches.  We partner churches in North America with churches in Haiti so that both can be awakened to what God has called them to be.  We want to connect them, because two are better than one, and we wish to unleash them to be all that God created them to be by equipping, supporting and challenging them.  Our world is dying, our world is living in darkness.  Christ is the light and has chosen to use His church to shine that light.

Isaiah 1:17 is seared on our hearts and is the filter by which we do all our work in Haiti: “Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.”

Our heart beats for what beats in the heart of God.  Isaiah 1:17 gives us our marching orders and we faithfully and passionately follow them in the context of Haiti.
