We are all constructed differently. We all have different skill sets, different personalities, etc. I was designed with a servant’s heart. With the heart and desire to help the underserved. I am that person that when walking down the street and sees a homeless person, I want to provide them with any food or water that I have on me. I care about others. We all care about something or someone.
God made each of us each in his own image.
We can all serve. We can all GO and DO. Jump in, two feet first, knee deep, don’t be scared and don’t look back.
I remember 4-years ago hearing Dan O’Deens‘ story of Haiti. His love for Haiti, and his passion. I wanted to be a part of that. I wanted to go. But I didn’t. I sat on the

thought and the idea of it for over 3 years. I kept saying, someday I will go, someday I will get involved, but I didn’t. I just kept going about life, raising my kids, and being a wife.
Then, one Sunday morning I was reading an email from CPR-3. I will admit that I had not typically opened these emails, but I did that morning. The quick version of the email was that CPR-3 needed help in the states, locally, and I knew at that moment, this was a God thing. I decided that I could do that. I knew that I was being led to CPR-3.
I had no idea what I was getting into, but I am so glad that I did take that step.
The New Testament clearly teaches that God has given us all gifts and that these are to be used to build up the body of Christ. That means you have something to give and that you have something to share!
We can all DO something. Come with me, use your ability-no matter what! No college degree required, just a heart that wants to serve. A heart that is open, a mind that is aware, and a drive to make a difference under the direction of God. Your skills, no matter what they are, a handyman, a seamstress, a cook, a pastor, a mother, a father, a daughter or son, just your willingness will mean so much to the success of CPR-3. The experience of using your skills in an underserved country, will mean a lot to those that you come in contact with. You will never be quite the same. Your heart will change forever. You will not regret the decision to journey with us.
