Compassion Corp Housing Under Construction

CPR-3 is so thankful for the generosity of Bayou City Fellowship. CPR-3 exists to serve in the poorest country in the world, Haiti, physically and spiritually. Spiritually the country of Haiti has heard the name of Jesus, but a clear understanding of who Jesus is has deceived this country. The seed of Jesus has been thrown, but often on hard soil. Today that soil is being studied so we, the church can bring real hope through relationship with Jesus.

Six out of ten people in Haiti who call themselves Christian also practice Voodoo. The way to reach this country is by reaching out and touching the young.
That is why CPR-3 is excited to partner with churches like Bayou City Fellowship. Together we believe in the young. In order to reach the young we have to invest in the young.  Bayou City Fellowship heard about our commitment to provide missional opportunities to young adults. Compassion Corp and CIT is a program for juniors and seniors in high school and college students to join us for six weeks during the summer.  Young adults can serve for 3, 6 or 12 months so they can learn how to minister in a developing country.
Our team was thrilled to receive a phone call and email from one of the Mobilization Pastors with the news that Bayou City Fellowship wanted to invest in the young as well as Haiti and undertake the Compassion Corp and CIT project. The building is almost complete. This building not only provides for the needs of young interns but also was built 100% by Haitian construction workers meaning jobs were created and needs were met.
We look forward to June when Bayou City Fellowship will send down its first team. Thanks for BEING the Church!
