Dear Upcoming Haiti Team Member,

I am writing to you to explain the purpose to which I hope we can accomplish on your week trip here in Haiti. My main purpose is to grow you spiritually, from Point A to Point B through what the bible already tells us to exemplify. I do this because I have a passion to see everyday people experience the true and full life that they are meant to live from having a relationship with Jesus. This true and full life is what I hope to remind and help you discover while being here.

We will begin to discover what this life looks like by becoming healthy disciples, and thus growing together. I will challenge you and stretch you to do things that will not always be comfortable, because growth is not always comfortable. If you are longing to grow, you will be a healthy disciple. A disciple that does not only live that out the week in Haiti, but also at home in everyday life.

That is the win for me, for us at Breathe, and for you: to see you live out a life that is full of you constantly growing and challenging yourself to live life as Jesus himself did. That is the spiritual growth I long to see in everyone who comes through on these week trips to Haiti. That is the spiritual growth I long to see in you. Are you ready?
